With apple's release of the new powerbooks, they didnt really mention/advertise that you could take the battery out and change it while the powerbook on "Safe Sleep" and it will not turn off nor loose anything that was on your screen.

so far this hack has been known to work on

•iBook G4's
•Powerbook G4's
•Mac Mini's.

quite cool and i have tested it on my iBook G4 1ghz.. and it works

thats sweet, thanks Ipod_man that used to anoy me when my powerbook goes to sleep when im flying and i cant recharge it.
By the time i land its dead.

I might print this before the Ilayers take it down.

I ran that enable script but it doesnt say anything in my /var/log/system.log anything about starting of safe sleep mode.
and when i pull out my battery when the powerbook is in sleep mode it still seems to be in sleep mode the light is flashing with no power and no battery now for 3 minutes.
