I like it... it's innovative and doesn't do too bad a job for what it's meant to....
Thumbs up for effort.

Ah, you got the windows icons. You need to go to the rocketdock website to get the Application itself.

I'm sorry, how is it innovative? It's doing the same thing as the OSX Dock. That's not to say it isn't useful (or cool for that matter), but it is not innovative by any stretch of the imagination.

I'm using RocketDock but can't load more icons
Seeing I'm a dunce, my previous post about not being able to instal RocketDock was because I was trying to instal the Dockpack icon items from the .zip file I downloaded. I realised after I'd posted that the .exe file was where I should have been, and its now on my screen. However, the Dockpack zip file doesn't install, it merely unzips, and when I exit and reboot there's no files on my system from the zip file - is this how it works. And if so, can anyone tell how to load the icons in Dockpack into RocketDock please?
Thanks

Drag and drop an application to the dock like you would on OSX. If you want to change the icon, right click on the application and there should be an icon option which allows you to select a new icon. You need to put the icons you want to use in the rocketdock icon folder, I think its in programs - rocketdock - icons

Likewise. Its a royal PITA. I would probably install a lot of the Stardock stuff if I could. Just as na FYI, Stardock also have a free dock. There's a paid one as well but you probably wouldnt bother...

Mac envy, I had that when I was a Windows user. I got over it when I bought a Mac mini. It is like putting lipstick on a pig, ultimately it is still a pig.

Phone up your IT support number with a legitimate query that needs them to log in with the admin password to your computer. Then quickly thank them and rip out the network cable before they get a chance to log off and you can play to your heart's content! I used to do that a bit to install "illegal" software, you know, like iTunes.

Good software. I replaced my quick launch bar with this- looks far better and has a larger capacity for icons.
Now I only need to get Windows Flip3D to work with a single keypress much like Mac OS X Expose.
