Yes, I think eventually there will be one developed so you can choose from a large selection of ISP's.

Same here, as I am just interested in how they work.

just did an update to the main post...

maxon has a new website so the Green MiniMax software moved to maxoncdma

maxon has released beta drivers for the USB Telstra Turbo Modem (orange) no GUI yet but the connection client and drivers in an app is expected on 15/2/07, only a few days...

this bodes well for customers who got the blue Bigpond USB modem that looks identical except in colour... Bigpond users need to wait for Bigpond to add support to their official connection client, but apparently the mac drivers are the same for the Blue and Orange modems so in a few days you may have a Maxon Connection Client that is designed for the orange one from Telstra but may also work on your blue one from BigPond, these Maxon drivers were built from the ground up and good reports have come in from the beta drivers...

added Vodaphone section and links to the new 8/2/07 released Connection Client that adds support for their USB version

I created a widget based on Troy Dack's Internode Usage Meter (which was based on Paul Johnson's Konfabulator widget)...

I've cleaned up the interface a bit from the original. It still needs a bit of work to add some more features, but I use it in its current condition (currently I'm the only one... lol) and it seems to work well.

Click here to download Internode Usage Monitor.

Downloaded - FTR this widget is awesome, is there a readme or something to go with it?

The last one i had used a pointer on the bar to tell me how far into my billing period i was, and compared that with the cap usage to colour the bar to show usage relative to the current point of the month to indicate wether to slow down to remain uncapped - does your widget do this?

No readme yet, just packaged it up... Probably do something soon to make it all a bit more professional and complete.

For the billing period indicator: Not yet... But I'm working on it.

Hope you don't mind that i had a looksee with Dashcode (it is hard for me being that i know minimal JS but am a bit handy with PHP, weird huh :P)

Looking at it all you would need to do is at a pointer on the rim of the guage (sorta like the locking mechanisms on the stargate) that rotates around corresponding to the point in the month and the code seems to be nicely done - to someone who could code JS i'm sure it would be quite easy.

Bearing in mind, I just took the code from Troy Dack's OS X version of the Konfabulator widget and moved the code around a little. I'll have a look at the inner workings of the gauge and see if I can whip something up on the weekend or something.

Yeah my old one is based off a Konfabulator widget, not sure if it is the same one you're talking about because yours looks totally different.

You'll want to use this widget instead: it has been updated to work with Bigpond's changes
