Looks like fun, but I wonder what was the embarrassment level for getting clapped into the store

FYI: I want one of the tables too, preferably in a darker wood like mahogany, but I imagine I've got more chance of scoring the oversized phone seeing as the tables are custom designed by an architectural firm especially for Apple...

My Newton works...

Putting a huge iPhone in my window would result in another break-in within a few days, tops.

Thought about taking pics of my purchase... in its tie-bag... but couldn't be stuffed. :}

Lots of people have them...

I've been tempted to book a Genius Bar appointment only to complain that my first gen Touch doesn't recognise my finger anymore. Doesn't connect to the App Store either...

Please do. They'll have a great laugh too, if they know what a Newton is.

I did, no one else I recognised did... but it was hard slog to buy something. Their system wasn't handling it very well. For me it took multiple attempts to process with two different specialists - I would say around 20mins.

I'll be buying my next major purchase from there, no questions. It's simply better than anywhere in Brisbane.

Well I'm real tempted to walk up to the Genius bar with my TAM, but I figure they wont actually be able to do anything... so there's little point.

As for definitely buying there... the online store is "closer"... but I'm sure a visit will be assumed to all future visits to Goldy.

When I bought my purchase, it was straight forward... though their wood desktop was a pain when trying to sign for my purchase...

So Apple are now pricing cables with the same markup as RAM. Bloody hell that's a lot for something that couldn't cost more than $1 to manufacture...

Off topic, but tied in to above post/s...

A friend at work needed a new charger for her iPod Shuffle (2nd gen; clippy one). $45 or there abouts. New iPod Shuffle $65. Criminal.
