Hi all.
Just spotted iWork 09 at DSE for $5.00 plus delivery. That can't right, surely?
Anyway, here's a link

I've ordered one, too. If it turns out to be bogus, we need to complain to DSE en masse. There's nothing on the site or the description of the product that says it's a trial version or anything. And as far as I know, they're obliged to divulge that. The website said it was in stock, and if it's the full version I do not know if they're permitted to refuse to supply it at the advertised cost.

If they are advertising a price, they must honour it, not ifs, no buts.

Put in for 5 copies - looks like eBay may get a rush on copies
No extra if you order 5 copies either - really nice of them.

How come your shipping was so much cheaper?

No matter how many I ordered it was still $13.50.

I am in Melbourne as well (near Doncaster Shoppingtown) hardly worth another $3.60 to get here.

I should ring and complain about their poor service

Unfortunately, no.

A price is an invitation to treat. By you going through, it is an offer, and the acceptance is them agreeing to the price. The only reason your local supermarkets give it to you at the price advertised is to keep you happy - they are in no way whatsoever obliged, by law, to give it to you at that price.

In the terms of conditions, there will, without a doubt be a fine print stating that errors, whether factual or price-wise, are able to be changed at DSEs discretion, when an obvious error has been made.

Maybe you lot will get lucky and they will honour it for their own sake. But I can't see it lasting long.

I changed it from Air & Road PREMIUM to just ROAD

I doubt I'll get a single copy of iWork, but they might go "oh here's your money back and a $20 voucher for our mistake" or something like that.
