MacTalk Podcast - Episode 32 - Deep Fried
MacTalk Podcast - Episode 32 - Deep Fried
Episode 32 is to be kept away from children and stored in a secure location because Peter Wells ( fulltimecasual), Christopher Kahler ( arkenstone), Alexander Reid ( Al Aero) and Anthony Agius ( Decryption) talk a lot of crap.

A warning about eating packaging even though it's made out of potato: there was a caller on Dr Karl asking about this a while ago and the pesticides they add to the packaging are the least of problems you'd get from ingesting it.

Treated starch box != tasty potato.
Also, that guy with the PS3, good on you. I have one too and much prefer it to my 360.

If you post a video of Decryption eating the box MacTalk is going to start showing up with some less than reputable sites on Google searches....

Haha, I'm nearly 2/3 through. This time instead of the regular MacBook Air bashing, they had guest commentary. I love it.

More Air bashing? Perhaps it's not worth listening!

You need to live in Sydney for a chunk - Connex are wonderful compared to CityRail...
"Starcraft is balls" – Decryption, 2008.
Tsk.
McDonalds didn't add bacon to burgers back when Dana came up with that recipe!
Ah, running commentary...
Oh man, the MacBook Air.
Apple also sited the keyboard as "not compromising". Of course, the 12" wasn't as wide and still managed a full-size keyboard...
Lack of USB... when I'm not at a desk, I don't need more than one port. When I sit at my desk, I just plug in my keyboard and there's mouse and Ethernet instantly. If I need more, I have a USB hub... that I've never used...
Lack of SuperDrive... I have an external drive full of disc images, and access to plenty of computers with optical drives.
FireWire is the obvious omission, but almost every hard disk has USB2 nowadays. Sucks when I'm playing with my 1st-gen iPod, though I don't think that worries too many people.
Performance... an Air can easily handle browsing, music, IM, Twitter, remote desktops, mail, blah blah all at once. If you're really working on intensive tasks (say, media work... like recording a podcast), of course you'd want a Pro.
Blah. Blah!

Where are these toilets? I've been to the store twice and I've seen the elevator and some sort of 'exit' door but didn't look inside, beside the elevator.
Maybe it's a store room or something.
