MacTalk's Live WWDC '08 Coverage

MacTalk's Live WWDC '08 Coverage
Live streaming podcast begins Tuesday, June 10 @ 2:30AM AEST. Live keynote text updates at 3AM

We didn't do it for a little while, but it's back! MacTalk will have a live text feed of the Steve Jobs keynote at WWDC '08. This time we have some people actually attending the keynote to feed us info, as well as our usual bevy of other sources from which we scrape. The keynote begins at 3AM AEST, on the Tuesday the 10th of June.

This year MacTalk will also have a live MP3 audio stream of local comments as it happens (and it will work this time!). The live audio stream will start at 2.30AM AEST. (note this is not an audio stream of the keynote - this is the MacTalk podcast, streamed live and available to download later).

The MacTalk podcast will also be recording two podcasts specially for WWDC - so look here on Tuesday morning for a blow by blow audio commentary of the keynote, and check again Wednesday morning for a full wrap-up of what's went on.

The MacTalk IRC channel will also be rocking with other fellow Mac-tragics staying up late and spouting their 2c.

Of course, MacTalk will also have a fresh news item ready for you first thing Tuesday morning, so you can wake up to the news from San Francisco if staying up to watch it unfold live isn't your thing.

So visit MacTalk on the 10th of June at 2:30AM and get the latest on the keynote and new Apple announcements with an Australian focus.

As much as I would love to stay up and listen live, I have some feeling that my mum is going to deny my request, as it is a "school night".

I will be checking in early, and will be downloading the podcasts in the morning.

Make us proud guys.

(oh yer, if anyone wants to send me txt message updates, PM me. Mum never said anything about that )

Another over here for the "school night" situation. I don't think I could stay up all night over an Apple Keynote anyway :P

haha - good point. We're only stuffed if Apple employs some sort of RF blocker that disables mobile phone data

Are you using Scribble Live for the text feed?

I've heard it's fantastic for liveblogging.

No worries

Apple have popped this up: Keynote Podcast

So you can get the keynote fresh off the press!

Also, for those that are interested in a spoiler free link to the stream...clicky

Enjoy.
