Can we install an OS on it and then boot off them?
I have a 12" PowerBook that can't boot off it's internal drive (but it can't store files on there, logic board
don't ask ), would it be possible for me to install a base installation of OSX on a lego brick, and then boot off that?
Thanks

Well, yes, I believe you were wrong for stating that I use a Mac for reasons that are wrong.
I'm unsure why that is not wrong.

I'm not dumping on people who help others out:
- I asked why people were finding this deal attractive.
- I provided reasons why I don't find the deal to be attractive.
- Different people, with different reasoning, provided their reasons.
A reasonable exchange of viewpoints from my angle.
Perhaps some lessons in English comprehension for one of us...

If your Mac can boot from a USB drive it will boot from the Lego drive. I'm not sure if a 12" PowerBook can boot from USB.

There are some PPC which with a little fooling with the system install can actually boot from usb 2 devices. I have read this just right at this moment cannot remember where but it has detailed instruction on hot to it.
I am seriously thinking about one of these as it would be a huge help.
Would holding off until next thursday before ordering be ok.
If so I would get a yellow one.

You've got a couple of weeks to order - I will be passing the money on to Zip Zip mid-June.

Jesus. Some people like cool gadgets. Can we leave it at that or are we only allowed to make purchases by committee approval now?

Err, Decryption's price is already below the usual price for a 4GB. What more do you want?!

8GB is all there is, I won't be ordering 4GB drives. The price difference between the two is neglible (maybe $10) - may as well get double the space for $10 more. Plus, the low price relies on a large order of a single amount (various colours, but a single capacity) and 8GB is more popular considering the price difference between the two

Is there any reason why I shouldn't choose the $1 (Regular Large Letter) postage option?
I only want 1 drive, so the satchel seems overkill.
