Brisbane MacTalk Meet - Sunday 18th May
Brisbane MacTalk Meet - Sunday 18th May
Brisbane MacTalk members Goodbye and andrew.wilson have organised a meet up of fellow Brisbanites. Here are the details you need to know:
Where? New Farm Park - Google Map link
When? Sunday, 18th of May, from Noon until whenever everyone's had enough to eat and drink.
What to Bring? if you want anything beyond BBQ sausages, chips and soft drink, then it's BYO. Also bring your cameras, but perhaps leave the laptops at home you geeks.

If you can get a ferry that stops right at the base of the park and would be the easiest. I will try and figure out the buses but I think a 195 or 196 would work also.

The exact location is still forthcoming (need to go down there and scout it out), but we'll put up MacTalk signs so you know we won't be far away!

We just bought a house and will be moving soon. No doubt the missus will have me packing up house, so I will try to make it down, but don't like my chances

A big esky would be great, I only have two smallish ones that will keep the gear cold for the drive down, but would need to be transferred into something larger. I'll let you know closer to the time though!

To those wavering - come along! I went to the Sydney meet last year and it was great! MacTalkers are all friendly and accommodating, you'll have a great time!
