Can't make it until 4 or 5pm

Man, I'd like to be there. but I've got a previous, that won't be done until 4pm.

What are the chances of coherent conversation that late in the day ?
(yeah, old dude, coherence preferred)

for people who are already lost, translink.com.au will get you there - there's even a mobile version, if you like to leave things until the last minute

not too many iPhones in Brisbane, I think - Sydney seems loaded, but Brisbane, not so much
feel free to prove me wrong

If I made it to Sydney to meet Leo Laporte, I'll find a way to be there for this...

thanks decryption - are you going to be twittering on the day ?

not surprising - I wondered if you were making a trip, up

Strange thing about Brisbane is, in winter (and we're getting there), it's pitch black at 5pm.
(If only I had a pack of menthol cools, but it didn't work for Jack, did it?)

thanks also to Brisbane MacTalkers making it happen

In regards to buses, from the network map, it looks like the 195 has a terminus at New Farm Park, and the 196 and 197 also pass next to the park.

Wow. Only 19? The way you write I thought you were somewhere in your mid-late 20s! Colour me impressed.

*return to topic now please*

Was thinking the same myself.

If I can get out of my Wife's friend birthday party I will be there, will also bring along my trusty Waeco portable fridge freezer if needed?

I may well be in Brisbane that day - but I might be a bit out of place. The only female driving a wheelie-walker?

I'd like to think that wouldn't make a shred of difference to you being in or out of place... besides, you've got your seat already with you

Hope you make it

Waaugh! I haven't been keeping up with the discussion, so I didn't see the discussion relating to location, but why! Why New Farm Park!

We will have to get there early if we want a table/decent place to gather come midday; New Farm Park gets ridiculously busy, traffic jams in the ring-road! I'd advise people take public transport, the busses go right the the river-end of the park and the ferry docks a few metres away from it.

Anyhoo, the day works well, strangely enough it's my one w'end in May that's free

I might be able to make the trip down the Range that day. Depends on if there are any trucks flipping over the side of the mountain or not.
