This Week in the Forums...

This Week in the Forums...

It is a slow news day in Cupertino, so back despite lack of popular demand, I present this week in the forums....

Firstly, mechcon has revisited his excellent article comparing Parallels Desktop and VMware Fusion. Both articles are a must read for anyone who wishes to run Windows on their Mac.

After a massive first run and too many posts to navigate easily, the Random Photography thread is now onto it's second act with many excellent pictures already being posted.

What started as an April Fools joke has turned into decent thread on a very interesting topic; What will do you if/when PCs get OS X.

sharpeskii has a problem, Quick Look seems to be blind! Can you help him out?

There seems to be a couple of Macs making funny noises at the moment. Froggeh's brand new MacBook Pro is grinding while DarkAvenger's Powermac is making weird noises.

Silver has started a discussion on whether or not the raised MacBook and MacBook Air keyboards can cause long term damage to screens. The thread has created some conflicting answers.

Rasta (like others on the internet) is very angry at TimeCapsule. Apparently it is "the slowest piece of gear ever designed and invented by ANY company in the history of the universe"....

adamd has an interesting thread asking for advice on DJing with a MacBook.

thebookfreak58 has posted some undercover spy shots of Windows in operation in the teriary environment...although some readers are left wondering what is funnier, the BSOD of the lecturer...

There is an interesting thread going on in the iPhone forums. What hacking tool should you use; iPhone Pwned or ZiPhone 3.0 or iLibertyX?

Finally, something a little weird; who is more of a badass, Gelfie or Disko?!
