Apple today quietly released its much anticipated iPhoto prints, books, and calendar printing service to Australia.

Prices for prints start at 26c for 4x6", going up to $36.35 for 20 x 30" (50x76cm) posters (interestingly the Apple Australia website gives slightly more expensive prices than iPhoto itself, please check before you order - these prices are taken from the website).

Photobook prices range from $5.49 for a three-pack of small 2.6 x 3.5" photobooks, through to $39.99 for the large A4 size hardcover book. Very reasonable prices, considering the alternatives.

Calendars are priced at $26.99 for a 10.4 x 13" size. Personalised greeting cards priced from $2.09ea for 50 or more, and $2.69ea for if you order between one and twenty-four cards. Postcards are $1.99 each for the same amount.

As some in the forum have been saying - this is almost more exciting than the recent MacWorld event!
