Leopard 26th October - CONFIRMED - AU$158

The big cat has landed on the Apple website, bringing confirmation of it's release on the 26th of October. With it also comes a price drop, to $158, or $145 for Educational purchases.
Apple is allowing customers to ore-order Leopard, promising delivery to metro areas on the 26th of October.
You can also pre-order from your local reseller and pick it up on the 26th also.
Frequency in Sydney and
CompNow in Melbourne are having Leopard launch parties.
An
up-to-date program is available for new Macs bought from Apple or its authorised resellers on or after 1 October 2007, which requires completing a form and sending it off to Apple together with invoice details and $12.95 in exchange for a disk that will upgrade your Mac to Leopard. Customers with multiple Macs on the same invoice can either purchase multiple up-to-date disks or request a 'right to copy' for each qualifying Mac.
