Special Offer for MTAU Members from MyPods
Special Offer for MTAU Members from MyPods
Seon, forum member and MyPods & Sector3 head honcho has a little special for MacTalk members:
MacTalk and MyPods have decided to run a special promotion for all MTAU members to help MTAU raise money and of course, to help spread the MyPods word.
For every MyPods that is purchased by an MTAU member, MyPods will donate $5 of the sale to MacTalk. Thats right, even if you have your 20% discount, we will honour it and still donate $5 to MacTalk.
The only condition for each donation is that after purchase, you must post to this thread that you have purchased, and what model/design it was, so I can track each sale.
For those of you that are not already members, when you register on MyPods, enter MTAU as your PromoCode, and you will automatically get your 20% off your first myPod.
Why are we doing this? Well, I personally love my time on MacTalk. I think its an awesome resource, and the guys at MacTalk has been very helpful for me for both MyPods and Sector3 Games, so I wanted to give something back.
Thanks Seon! Now is the best time to snap up one of those snazzy MyPods skins

I have a quick question, I hope you don't mind me posting it in this forum but it is related. I really like the myPods and would love to revive my video iPod with one but will it still fit into my dock to sync? It does state on the myPod website that it will not affect it but can I hear from someone that has tried it please. I just want to be sure because my iPod spends most of its life in the dock
Thanks Moose

Come on MacTalk people! This is an awesome opportunity to help MacTalk generate some good money that will be used to help keep this forum and community thriving!
Everyone must have friends and family that own iPods... Buy them as gifts!
It's been suggested to me privately (twice now) that I'm just trying to make a dollar here, but if that was the case, I wouldn't be giving away $5 for every myPod purchased to MacTalk, with no restrictions. If I wasn't making a dollar, I wouldn't be able to donate to MacTalk.

I will be getting one sometime in the next two weeks when I purchase my new ipod video. The hardest part is making up my mind which one.
