There's a lot of gold in the forums, that sometimes goes unnoticed. With this semi-regular post I will highlight some of the better ones that go unloved or posts that we'd like you to participate in. On with the cavalcade!

• Xerodude is looking for suggestions on what to put into a basic Mac navigation course aimed at total newcomers to the Mac.
• Internet wants to know if a Mac Mini and a Cinema Display will make a good home theatre setup.
• Nathanh is seeking someone to laser engrave his laptop (as am I).
• I want your input on how we can get more forum members on MacTalk.
• Brewseter wonders what sort of setup one can achieve with a MacBook in the car.
• Spargo is enquiring about where to purchase replacement hard-drives for the iPod.
• crimespree (cool username!) is wanting to setup a little network for his community to share data and internet access - an interesting project.

you put a new hard drive in your macbook pro... i fail to see how this required any form of talent, and for that matter, is worthy of news. fuck I'm bitter today.

bah, me bringing back to life an ibook G3 and an ibook G4 in about 10 minutes wasnt newsworthy (not surprised )

I thought it was very good actually. I felt the the fact that the drive was a 5400RPM 250gb and ran cool quite newsworthy.
