Post Photoshop CS3 beta: Friday

Photoshop CS3 beta: Friday
(or Saturday morning for Australians)

Click the image to open in full size.
Thats right, chaps. Appleinsider are claiming that Adobe are about to drop the heavily anticipated and intel ready beta of Photoshop on Friday (USA time).
Exclusive: Adobe Systems Inc. on friday will make available for download an early public beta of its next-generation graphics editor, Photoshop CS3, but will otherwise abstain from delivering pre-release copies of other Creative Suite 3.0 applications.

People familiar with the matter tell AppleInsider that Adobe chief executive Bruce Chizen will formally announce plans for the beta release during the company's fiscal fourth quarter conference call with analysts and members of the media on Thursday.
Keep in mind, if it does get released - it's just a beta. Wait for the full version if you're going to be relying on it for professional use.

From what I understand the beta will only be available to those with registered CS2 suite or perhaps PS CS2.

But if it's open to all then hey I'm there.

The rumor is that only us slobs who actually paid for CS2 will be able to download the beta... (actually, my boss paid for 'my' version.)

but those naughty sharing sites will be filled with copies before you can say "universal binary".

I'll be doing my darndest to nab a legal copy of it if I can. If it's open to those with CS2 suite registrations then I should be good to go....hopefully it's not just for US peoples though
