Apple has spat out a few things in the time since the last news post.
First is some new Get a Mac ads, which are genuinely funny. I laughed at my computer when I watched the "Gift Exchange" ad. There's also a new security update that should be in your software update,
check out what it contains over at Apple's info page.
You know how Universal are getting a cut of every Zune sold, based on the fact all MP3 players have stolen music, which in the record companies magical fantasy fairy land, entitles Universal to a piece of the pie?
Well news is the iPod is Universal's next target.
If you're into Aperture, it's worth taking a listen to the latest
Inside Aperture podcast. Bill Frakes is a photographer for Sports Illustrated and he takes us through his Aperture workflow.

Dan's Data takes a look at the Edirol UM-1EX USB MIDI interface. I don't know much about MIDI, but the reviewer seems to like it for the price of $105 delivered.
Kevin Smith (Clerks, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back), was asked by Apple to do a celebrity playlist for the iTMS. Kevin did it, with nicely detailed information on each track of his choosing. When it was given to Apple, they asked to cut it down, as they were too detailed, as usually, the celebrities don't write the descriptions themselves. So instead of cutting it down, he just didn't put it up on the iTMS and
put it up on his blog instead.
Whilst not Mac related really, there's a bit of buzz on the forums about the Nintendo Wii (I have mine pre-ordered and
only 7-and-a-half days left!), so I thought I'd mention that
Arstechnica take a look at the Wii in their usual thorough fashion.
