Ram prices have always seemed a little high. Looks like the conspiracy theorists were right. nfineon Technologies AG conspired with "unnamed manufacturers" to fix ram prices. They have since pleaded guilty and will pay a $160 million fine. More on this
here. Will this let us see lower ram prices?
