-learnt about external HD's and backing up
-bought one
-bought an external DVD burner
-made my son very happy (making games on Scratch and being able to burn his vids for school)

I have just migrated here from Whirlpool, and looks like a bit of fresh air. I have been using Macs from Day one (yes I had a classic). Good to see a Aussie Mac community.

I will be looking at advice of iphone deals, but I am staying away from the forums right now, as they all seem a bit nasty, like the Optus thread. Anyway when deals are offically announced, lets start up some stickies for help with those of us trying to make sense of it all.
