Podcast Sync & the TV

Ok here is the problem.

For some reason iTunes thinks I have a podcast...

ie it tries to sync it with my TV. however the actual podcast doesnt exist on my computer... so I keep getting error messages in iTunes about not being able to sync the non existing podcast.

So I download the podcast. And then sync the TV.

iTunes copies that file over 2x.

So in iTunes
I mark the file as listened to.. refresh podcasts... podcast is deleted.

re sync TV but it only deletes one podcast.
and the file has now been deleted from iTunes but one remains on the TV

If I try "listening" to them both on the TV.. and then sync, iTunes marks it played, and then deletes in the refresh. But Im still stuck with 1 version on the TV.

Any ideas on how to get this file off the TV... I suspect the solution lies somewhere in the podcast management side of iTS.. but no idea where/what that might be.

Uh...that's wierd. I don't think I've ever had this problem...but I don't actually sync podcasts to the Apple TV. I stream them from the iTunes library it's connected to...which is pretty much how I handle everything because the AppleTV syncing is so flakey.

Sorry Kuma I've never had this program but while you're on the topic I spent too many hours last night on my apple TV cruising through all the free podcasts on the US store... Wow there's so many and pretty interesting stuff as well. Seem to have got caught up in French Maid Tv - best CPR demonstration I've ever seen.
