Retrieve Trashed Files On Ext HD
Hi guys,

Can anyone instruct me on how to 'see' recently trashed files on an External HD?

I'm working on a:

MacPro 2 x 2.66GHz
Mac OS X 10.4.11

External HD (networked) is a:

IceCube 320gb (I think)

Let me know if you need to know any other info

I would greatly appreciate any help.

I'm kind of intrigued now. I tried the command+delete combo on a file (like you mentioned in your other thread) in Finder (using 10.4.11 like you) and it doesn't do anything at all (although shift, command+delete does empty trash however like it's supposed to).

I'm wondering if as it is a network drive that the OS views it in much the same way that trashing a file on a remote networked computer erases it as soon as it is moved to the Trash (on your primary computer)? I find it difficult to believe that the network drive wouldn't have better software to prevent this from happening however.
