Ram.. version 30232334545

I've got the iMac before the current models. It came standard with 1 gig of ram and another 1 gig was added later on.

Do i have two slots and the option for another 2 gig stick under the monitor or is it just a single?

I was under the impression there was only one slot and that sticks only came in 1 gig max for the mac.

...lucky this is a flame free zone.

You have 2 slots each capable of taking a 2GB stick of RAM.

You may find that what is in your machine now is 2 x 1GB sticks of RAM, so you'll have to swap one (or both) out to increase your memory.

morgan: not a significant advantage though. I'd get 2x2GB sticks anyway if the machine supports it.
