End Key

Hi,

Silly noobie question.

I've looked a couple of the key description 'sites but I can't find how to go to the end of a line of text after editing a mis-spell or something.

As a loooonnng time PC user, it's just a dity habit to hit the end key.

Can someone please offer assistance?

Cheers!

Cmd right will work in all programs I know of appart from Adium where this is defulted to switching tabs, thankfully you can change this in preferences though however.

Have you tried hitting the UP or DOWN arrow that are located on your keyboard?

UP to go to the start.

DOWN to go to the end.

Up and Down arrows ftw! If you can't go any further up, the blinker goes to the beginning of the line. Kinda the same for the down arrow, except to the end. Option-left/right moves a word at a time (to the next space). Option-up/down moves a paragraph at a time. Command-up/down does complete text endpoints and command-left/right does line endpoints (beginning and end of the one you're on).

Control-arrows switch spaces in Leopard so rather useless for typing.

It's ok, some of us Mac folk don't discover these things for years and wonder how we lived life before them.
