Perian supports a lot of formats excluding the WMV formats.
Flip4Mac supports just the WMV formats.

Using both gives you the best of both worlds.

Great article - Ab Fab

I just AppZapped VLC as my WMV player as it started to pixelate and skip. Installed Flip4Mac and it serves my purposes just great. I like its integration with FF2 browser and Mail.

The "delete" key next to the "end" erases to the right.

The "delete" key next to the "+/-" erases to the left.

Not sure if the Macbook is different to the MacBook Pro, but I don't have an "End" button. I have to press "fn" and "Delete" to delete to the right.

Is there a way without pressing "fn"?

OOPS - sorry I did not read your original post correctly. Not sure about the MacBooks as own an iMac.

Though I did a quick Google for "macbook keyboard delete key"

You might find some answers there.

mouse right click, is it not common knowedge that you go to system preferences select mouse keyboard button then selectmouse buttons settings change the right side to secondary not primary then all you need to do is press on the right side of the mouse for right click. This might be common knowledge but never see it in anybodys help tips

The most common recommendation is Kingston RAM. It's available very cheaply from just about anywhere and has an excellent reputation. 2Gb sticks are very cheap at the moment, with 1Gb costing extremely little. 3 or 4Gb will make for an excellent machine, especially if you start going photo or video crazy. Apple's iMacs, as well as their notebooks, take notebook DDR2 RAM. A simple option is to use StaticIce to find the best price.
the new macbooks use DDR3
