Hi. I'm setting up my old powerbook for my wife which (for work purposes) has a partitions on it which I now want to get rid of. I'll be formatting the machine, doing a frech install of Tiger......

I can't imagine this will be too hard but I don't really know where to start to get rid of the partition.

Thanks

Chris

Just boot of the installation DVD and open Disk Utility. Delete all the partitions create a new partition or however many you would like, then format. Close Disk Utility and contiune the installation as usual.
