I am wondering if anyone knows if itrs possible to connect an ipod directly into a Saab 93 thats about 2 years old. i cant find any info as to whether the stereo has an aux in input. also hoping there is someone in Melbourne who may be able to fit this if its possible??

Have you looked in the manual for your car or audio system? if its got an AUX input it will probably say there.

The manual does not say anything about that unfortunately. its pretty basic.

Thnx tcn33, i will borwse that and see what i come up with, i am suspecting its not going to be easy though. frustrating that these car manufacturers are so far behind the times.

As a footnote, i had my car serviced at City SAAB in Melbourne. They had fitted ipods before, installed an Audio AUX in plug tot he console of my SAAB and Whala!! perfect sound coming from my Ipod for $69 + installation.
