Yep,devastating.
I did get reimbursed the maximum $375 from ebay which left me $75 down, but now 80gb's are cheaper so I just ordered one tonight.
The dodgy seller was tracked down by police after alledgedly defrauding 30 or so others aswell!.

Actually, goon man, they keep better and your music will stay fresh and crisp for weeks, rather than sounding dull and emo after only a few listens.

Its an old trick, but a goodie... :P

yeh the music kept getting stale rather quickly.. i figure this way it will preserve my purchased tunes!!@1
ya rly.

not rly.
the hard disk has died in it.. putting a hard disk in the freezer can often help sort out the dodgey bits by letting the metal contract and tighten up..

iPod G5 80GB.

Logitech speakers connected to apple dock with IR and apple remote, connected to the wall charger. My lives there.

If you can do it on an iPod, i can guarantee that my iPod is doing it right now.

Now all we need is wireless syncing via aiport express (so i can charge and sync at the same time). Oh wouldn't that be sweet.
