Default Boot camp & XP SP2 Disc

I'm just about to install XP onto a partition on my MacBook using boot camp, but the manual says that I can only use a XP disc with SP2 and not to update to SP2 later.

How do I know if my XP disc has SP2? There is nothing about SP2 printed on the disc.

EDIT: I just dug around in the files and found my disc is only SP1 :-(

So I can't use Boot camp??

following the slipstream steps now :-)

Ok, I'm now ready to burn my new XP SP2 disc, but the slipstream guide doesn't include buring with Toast.
Anyone have any ideas?

Ask a friend who has a copy of XP w/SP2 if you have any issues with the slipstream.

But I thought that you could only do the slipstreaming in Windows.

Same, I just made a VM and did it that way.

yeah, I did the slipstream in a virtual window, but I don't have burning software on my virtual XP and was hoping on burning it with toast in OS-X.

Looks like I'll need to download a trial of Nero on my virtual machine.

Just download ImgBurn for Win32, it's free. This will burn an iso image, and so will the free app on OSX called Burn.
