Whilst there is a lot of music on iTunes, it doesn't have everything. What about other great Aussie artists like Icehouse or TISM? I do find it odd what is not on iTunes, for example some artists have only 1 or 2 albums and not the complete catalog. Also, I have noticed that sometimes albums disappear. I bought Def Leppard's Hysteria when iTunes came out here, now it is not there!

I think the artists have a say in it.
Mondo Rock wasn't listed.. and I pirated everything that I wanted
in the process I found their official website.. I fired off an email to them asking why they were not on iTunes
Ross Wilson wrote back and said he had no idea.. but that it was a good idea.
24 hours later he sent me another email saying it had been organised... 36 hours later the music was there. I haven't checked to see if it still is.
(All their music that I pirated I then repurchased).
And on another note.. why back when (I first joined AppleTalk) was when the backdoor was opened into the iTS. I got in and rummaged around found heaps of stuff which I purchased.
The store was delayed, the back door locked down... later when it was reopend a lot of the stuff I had bought.. and a lot of the stuff that I had seen was gone.
So I know it is there... all encoded sitting on their servers... but I think it all comes down to the artist/record companies... what/when/how.
