iLounge reported rumours of a new iPod nano being more like the 2nd gen but taller to accommodate a widescreen display, so the form could be right... But the screen looks like it's made of cheap plastic.

I'm sorry, but that is hideous. Surely it's fake. Please let it be fake. Tapered edges fine, but what is with the ring of black around the LCD? It looks like a fake product out of China, nothing more.

I doubt they will go to the design with the plastic caps, looks to be a fan-made mockup of what people thought the 3G or even a 5G video would look like. I also doubt they will put a dark click-wheel on the silver one, they are known for white.

You know how the 3rd generation nano was leaked and everyone hated it but they saw it in the flesh and loved it. This is completely different. If you have ever frequented Chinatown or Ebay you see hunks of shit like this mockup and they look terrible and just plain odd.

I don't really know if I buy that that's an actual nano, but I'm pretty certain the form factor will be the same.
