apple itunes cards pulled from sale - Australia - Apple - Whirlpool Broadband Forums

I will defer to Whirlpool on this one...

http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum....cfm?t=1011205

I tend to agree, the whole Bill Express screw up is something Apple will have to deal with, but how.

If it's not that, any other thoughts?

At Officeworks our DialTime machine was taken offline too, and iTunes cards were pulled from sale as well...didn't really notice it at the time, but now it looks like DialTime is in the crapper!

So is Apple going to release a Press Release about this? Otherwise there will be lots of teeth gnashing.

I picked up a pair of $50 for $30 yesterday from Big W to feed my new App Store habit. All worked fine through their system.

Is this promo nation-wide?

I went into BigW on Thursday, and the $50 cards were $50 when they were scanned into the system.

Hmm I bought x3 $50 "cards" for $30 each this afternoon from BigW, no problems. Today is the last day apparently.

I didn't get actual plastic cards tho, just receipts with the serial number and pin on each one. Is this normal practice from BigW.

Seemed a bit strange to me. But as long as they work who cares I guess. I am not giving them as gifts. ;p

I went to Big W today and bought three $50 iTunes cards for $30 each. I'll sell these for $30 each to any MacTalkers who missed out. Just send me a PM.

Edit: Hmm, perhaps I should have put this in for sale section, but I don't have a pic of Big W iTunes dockets. Mods please let me know if this needs to be moved.

Edit: All sold.
