Pop it into DFU mode (it's tricky, here's a link) - restore it with 1.1.4 via iTunes, then use ZiPhone to jailbreak it again

Try restarting/resetting the iPod.

Other than this, it's going to be fun times for you

The DFU mode link require you to turn the ipod on. Mine won't turn on.... Decryption, is there another way?

It won't turn on? Nothing at all ever comes up on the screen? Are you sure it's charged?

If iTunes recognises it - you can do DFU mode. It took me a while to get the hang of it, as your timing has to be precise, but once you're in DFU mode, iTunes will ignore whatever is wrong with the iPod and do a total restore back to factory settings. It's the equivalent of taking a bulldozer to a block of land, knocking everything down and building a new house. Whereas doing a traditional iTunes restore is just a renovation.

Phew, it's back!!! I followed chrsha01's apple troubleshooting link. Pressed home and sleep/wake button until apple logo appeared. Everything came back.... phew . That was close. That will teach me to never mess with the thing again!!!!

Thanks Decryption, chrsha01
