Default Invalid b-tree node size / what to do / how to fix

I have just turned on my MBP and finder presented an dialog that one of my drives could not be fixed by this computer and has been mounted with limited functionality.

This is an external drive with my meda files on it. Its a Seagate FreeAgent if that helps any.

Fortunately, of the 250gig of files on here only 7gigs have not been backed up. This is happening now.

Here is the error from console

Code:
19/07/08 6:42:59 PM Disk Utility[189] Mount of “320gb_data” failed
19/07/08 6:43:08 PM Disk Utility[189] Verifying volume “320gb_data”
19/07/08 6:43:08 PM Disk Utility[189] Starting verification tool:
19/07/08 6:43:09 PM Disk Utility[189] Checking Journaled HFS Plus volume.
19/07/08 6:43:09 PM Disk Utility[189] Invalid B-tree node size
19/07/08 6:43:09 PM Disk Utility[189] Volume check failed.
19/07/08 6:43:09 PM Disk Utility[189] Error: Filesystem verify or repair failed.

After backing up my data how do I go about fixing this, any recommended tools. One article I read suggests formatting and writing zeros to force a surface check. Any other options that are better / faster?

Thanks,

Chris.

DiskWarrior should be able to fix that. You can buy a bootable CD of it.
