iTunes question - recently switched from PC to Mac

Hi,

As the title suggests I have recently converted from PC to Mac and have the following issue:

I plugged my iPod (80GB video) into my Mac and it suggested that I reformat for Macintosh to enable updates. I had all my tunes backed up on an external HD to I went ahead with it.

Now that I have added all my tracks to my library and performed the sync to get everything up to date I have noticed one big difference compared to my PC version of iTunes - I cannot drag songs from my playlist straight over onto my iPod, nor can I select individual tracks on my iPod and delete them or even play any tracks at all. Basically my entire track listing on my iPod is shaded out and cannot be selected.

Is there are quick fix for this that anyone knows of?

Cheers,

Marcus.

Mac is, as I say, beautifully simple and simply beautiful...
