Back to my mac on iphone/ Ipod Touch
Now that would be a killer feature! The screen sharing in Leopard is so easy it would be sweet if they could put that on the iphone/ Ipod Touch. I could imagine Apple doing it actually.

Would it be possible to use ssh to get back to my imac at home and download files through my Imac?

its not quite the same but I use VNsea all the time to do exactly that back to my mini at home. It just uses Apple remote desktop (which is built on vnc) to do it. I password protected it and used a non-STD port on my routers' port forwarding.

Yeah, I have VNSea as well. I don't use it that often but it works pretty well over my wireless.
