Refurbed iPods
Hey guys,
Do the refurbs come in the box and everything? or are they in some boring brown cardboard box instead of the retail one?
Cheers.

Sometimes you can be lucky but they are mostly in brown boxes that say 'reconditioned product' IIRC.
I've bought two Refurb iPods, I Think they are great.

The box that comes in doesnt really matter, its only the product itself that matters!

I can second that, the refurbed ipod usually come in just a boring old box. The box doesn't detract from the quality of the iPod, as all refurb iPods i've seen are like new, with a tiny few little scratches on them.

Nahhh
Refurbed 5g Video, the first model of video basically < $200
It's an 18th birthday and they can't afford one, so I thought "why not"
They need a 30gb at least, otherwise I woulda gone for one of the new nano's

For a birthday I think you should just buy it new (get a few mates to chip in to help pay for it).
If it's for yourself, go with a refurb if you can spot a bargain.

Buying someone a refurb as a present might not leave a good impression

Well they thought they were getting my old beaten up iPod Photo, A refurb will be better.
I don't even know them that well, it's a friend off another forum i've never met IRL.
If I had the cash or a way to get the cash to buy them a new iPod Classic, I wouldn't have already ordered the refurb lol.

Wow, The whole refurb ipod store has had the prices reduced,
My 80gb 5.5 arived in a brown/plain boz the other day, I would suggest getting it and simply geting another box (for decoration), or try and find a friend with the appropriate box.

OR!
Buy the refurb, and buy a Foofpod as well
That way, you can just slip it into the pouch and have that as a gift?
