Podcasts on a shuffle

Hey guys,

I'm considering getting a Shuffle for the old man for father's day (today). It'll be used solely for podcasta though and I'm not sure the shuffle really lends itself to a podcast focussed world.

Google didn't fill me with confidence either.

Anyone out there got a shuffle they use for podcasts? Praps I need to spend the extra $80 on a Nano...

I used to have a shuffle and listened to a few podcasts on it but obviously with no way to see what was being played I found it hard to find things.

If you only listen to one or two the the shuffle would be ok....otherwise I'd go the nano...I got a refurb mini from the apple store....cheap and does the job (as I look now they have 6gb mini's for $179)

I used to have a shuffle, and it was a massive PITA to listen to podcasts with!

I would either totally clear the Shuffle except for the podcasts I wanted to listen to, or I would just put them at the top of the list so that I could just skip through all the other songs until I found them.

Not the answer you were looking for, sorry But I would certainly spend the extra $70

Get the nano - well worth the extra.
A shuffle is only useful if - like my dad - he can't read the screen anyway

You could get a refurbished 1gb nano 1st gen for the same price as a new Shuffle

Same price and capacity but with a screen...
