User friendly software to extract songs from iPod

What's the best software to use for downloading all the songs from my iPod so that I can actually recognise their file names etc as opposed to the weird way the iPod names them when being used as a hard disk? Wanting to move my mp3s from home to work using the iPod.

go to macupdate.com and search for either senuti, podview, or even ipodrip. I'd recommend podview and/or ipodrip.

I'd recommend Senuti for transferring songs from your iPod to your Mac - easy to use and free, which is always a good combination

edit- beaten to the draw....must be getting old

Yep, I second (or third) that. Senuti is excellent.

senuti however sucks as an itunes-replacement. podview may not look as good as the others, but it does a damn good job, ipodrip is a bit costly, but worth it..
