win formated ipod on a mac
I use PC's at uni but my computer at home is a mac. My nano is formated for macitosh. But I would like to use it as a portible hard drive. So is it a good idea to do? and if it is a good idea what are the steps and draw backs of doing it?

only real drawback is, it becomes FAT formatted, so you have a 4GB file limit. Apart from what, I'm pretty sure it will work perfectly with mac and windows!

It won't screw up. It will work just like a hard drive, like all Windows formatted drives on Macs.
