gday.

some how i managed to lose my itunes music library - i went to open itunes to put on a new CD and it was empty!!!!

Ive just spent the past several months loading ALL my music onto itunes and was in the process of researching DVD burners to back everything up and its all gone.

All my music is still there (not in itunes but in a music folder) but no BPM // date added info etc etc . . . . . im running OSX 10.3.6 on a little 12" powerbook.

Does anyone know how i may be able to get all the info back in itunes again or recover the library?

btw - im not very computer minded.

Location: Canberra
In iTunes, choose "File" and then "Add to Library..."

From here, select the folder which contains all your music. Then click OK.

My EDIT: You can also just press O when in iTunes to add the folder.

thnk n u all the music is back on there ok but i had put everything into Key order and that info is missing. ive also lost all my playlists.

at least all the music is still there and i dont have to start from scratch!
