Ok, I bought sound converter. It seems pretty good. However the files it's putting out are double the size of the orig m4a. Is there a guide to what you should run that at? At what point do you notice degredation? The sample rate is 44100 and bit rate is 256.

I'll be playing all this stuff in the car but still the system is pretty good.

I just tested 128, 256 bit, and the orig CD. I couldn't pick the difference between 128 and 256 but I could pick the difference to the original cd. I'm not sure I would driving though.

+1 for ffmpegX, although EasyWMA is worth it for you if you dont know all the different options in ffmpegX and just want a simple drag and drop operation. Good thing bout EasyWMA is it is based on the ffmpegX software.
