I think there are heaps around. Just go to Dick Smiths and you will get one - most of these will use the headphone jack out of the nano and into the Tx.

If you want a Tx that clips onto the Nano MacLover is selling one. It's an Airplay 2 FM Transmitter.

These last around 4/5 hours using the Nanos power.

2. if tyou're in no hurry to buy, keep an eye on Myer & Djs, they often have 10-15% off iPod accessories, but you'll probably get cheapest prices online.
3. clearest frequency I have found is 103.7

Airplay 2 FM Transmitter.
Crystal clear on my part and it looks mad with the Nano.

i bought the kensington one from www.streetwise.com.au

$100 and its the best! charges your ipod while you use it. goes from 88.1 to 107.9 (which is what i use)

you can also use 87.5 to 88 if you have issues with the complete band.

great sound (provided you change the EQ to treble reducer) and much better than the belkin one i had previously.

im not getting an mp3 head unit anymore because of this

I recently bought some wierd brand orange transmitter for the missus and it is the best thing I have seen for ages. I used to have an iTrip for my gen3 iPod but it was never worked so I throw it out.

This new one has the standard headphone jack plus multiple adapters for nokia, motorola and SonyE phones, palms and pocketPCs.

I'll have to find the brand, but I am thinking of getting one just for my phone.

I had a quick look on the streetwise site but couldn't see a kensington one do you know the model number?

I have a 5G Ipod, it sounds like I should stay clear of the itrips or are they all pretty much the same? I like in Sydney so would you expect a lot of interference etc?

cheers

Try the Sled - by Griffin $89.00 but can get cheaper if you look around (Streetwise have for $79.00).

It is powered by the nano and has stereo and mono capability - iTrip's Sled innovative selectable mono or stereo modes allow the user to adjust for the absolute best possible reception under real-world conditions. Enable the Mono mode in tough situations, such as large cities with stations crowding the dial for unparalleled reception. Switch to stereo mode for the best audio reproduction when you have a clear station.

A built-in USB port allows iPod nano to charge or synchronize music. Perfect for use in autos or at home.

Looks fab/very slim! Uses the nano screen to display stations. Also buy a cost effective car charger to keep your nano peeked whilst playing! Good Luck.

If you have JB Hi-Fi - check out the DigiDock - $39.95 - has 3 selectable frequencies, powers through the cigarette lighter and also has a USB power out option.
Works like a charm.
