I'm having a problem with my Ipod video and itunes on XP. I find that itunes constantly syncs files that already exist on the ipod. On one day I'll have the ipod synced with Itunes stating "Ipod Update Complete", the next day I may have downloaded 1 or 2 podcasts and when I go to add these 2 news files to the ipod it syncs anywhere from 100 to 250 files that already exist on the ipod!?!? Anyone know why this is?

I tried a test the other day. I'd tried syncing, unplugging ipod, adding a song to my itunes library, re-plugging it back in and then re-launching itunes only for it to act normal. It only synced the one song I added as it should. The above problem only seems to happen from day to day. I've also tried re-formatting the ipod to noavail.

The ipod works fine otherwise it's just extremely annoying as I'm constantly waiting for the ipod to sync when ive only added a song or two. Has anyone heard of or experience this problem? Is my Ipod defective?
