Since Australia is an unofficial principality of Denmark... what with a half aussie in line to ascend to the Danish throne someday... I did my duty as a loyal semi-danish citizen and downloaded "Fly On The Wings of Love" by the Olsen Brothers. (Not to be confused with the Olsen Twins, God forbid.)
iTMS link for Olsen Bros.
I heard this song on the Eurovision 50 Years Special the other week and as soon as I could I downloaded it. Catchy fun pop.

First purchase = Sarah Blasko - Overture and Underscore. Only because it was the cheapest album around and she sounded good on the preview.
Subsequent purchases...
Jamie Cullum - Catching Tales (Album)
Josh Groban - You Raised Me Up (Song)
Nichole Nordeman - Brave (Album)
Del Amitri - Can You Do Me Good (Album)
Considering the album prices are not that much cheaper than getting them at JB HiFi, I went for the ones that gave value for money. Jamie Cullum's album was good value due to the fact that it had the live tracks + digital booklet. Josh Groban song was one I always wanted to get cos it's so good. Nichole Nordeman is a contemporary christian artist and most Christian music are sold at full retail price (aka $29.95 and up), so at $17.99 it's a bargain!
Del Amitri album was a rare buy considering there's not much around to choose (without the Sony catalogue). Was browsing around and checked out Russell Crowe's playlist and checked out Del Amitri as a result and was quite pleasantly suprised. And considering most obscure, or less popular albums are priced at full retail, it was value for money.
Sorry to be so price conscious, but if I save $2 - $3 on a digital album as opposed to having the real CD at full audio quality, I have to make sure there are other stronger justifications to just buy the skimmed digital version.
Just my logic.

Mainly 70's and 80's stuff. A few audiobooks, and no albums yet. Can't justify spending that much for a single album.

Someone mentioned Chris Rock, I didnt think any of his stuff would be there but it is some funny stuff so I bought "Bigger and blacker". I also like punk music so I got some stuff from Sum41 and blink 182. And my new favourite song is called "Foxtrot, Uniform, Charlie, Kilo" by the Bloodhound gang, I heard it on the radio ages ago but never heard the details of it.
