iTMS bills on a weekly (?) basis. Very dangerous if you're downloading on the assumption iTMS will stop you when you hit your credit card limit.

umm no - the money came off my visa almost as soon as i ordered the songs, ad if you go over (as i did) it still lets you download but you can not download more until you have paid for your previous ones first

I guess what I should have said is that that's how it is on iTMS US. Interesting that it's daily (hourly?) billing here.

I bought Ben Lee's album Awake Is the New Sleep...

I guess that's a more catchy title than the grammatically correct "Wakefulness is the New Sleep" or "Awake is the New Asleep". Kinda like "Think different" I guess ...

I have so far bought Wir sind Helden's (cool German pop band) latest album, and am about to buy the Tim and Neil Finn songs by other artists album (She will have her way). I can see a lot of my money going away
Edit - thats if it would let me purchase things

I Just bought DJ Tiesto's exclusive remix album and for some reason the pre-release madonna song (but while im listening to it, it seems pretty good).
Looks like my 5 gift cards will be gone very, very soon :P

As soon as I could access the store (7am-ish Sydney time) I created a new account via my Australian credit card, and downloaded the first free song.
That's all I'll be getting off of it - so now each week I get two different free downloads, one each from the UK AND Aussie stores. That's great!! It is worth doing each week as there is often some interesting new talent put up on there.
I plan to gift a few songs & albums to my brother & his iPod Mini back in Brisbane - he'll love it (so long as his dial-up doesn't crap it half-way through a download)..
And just for everyones info, there is no consistency with the timing of the transaction from your bank account - me and my friends here accessing the UK store have noticed that it varies from bank to bank. But you can bet your bottom dollar that they won't forget to make the transaction, whether immediately or otherwise!

So far....
After the fall, "After the fall"
The Rasmus, "Hide From The Sun"
All American Rejects, "Move Along"
And so I'm not typecast, I also bought...
Ashlee Simpson, "I am me"
and pre-ordered Madonna's "Confessions on a Dancefloor".
I'm buying whole albums at the moment though.
How hideous is my taste in music

I slept in this morning, and was running late for work. Quickly logged on and saw it was live and quickly clicked through to Little Birdy's EP "This is a Love Song" and sync'd to the iPod and ran out the door to catch my bus with adrenaline flowing
Now I'm home I've got some more time to look, but I feel some soundgarden and rammstein coming on....
woooooo
