I tried to find a app to do this about 6 months ago. I searched for ages and couldn't find anything.
Instead i had to settle for a screen capture tool, I used Snapz Pro X, it does audio and video. You have to pay for it if you want to use it long term, but i just used the trial period (30 days from memory) and haven't used it since.
You have to let the movie play all the way through and can't do anything while this is going on, which is quite annoying, but at the end you will have a .mov file that can be changed to just about any file by quicktimes encoding tools.
I didn't find it that bad as I only had to convert a couple of things. But as far as I know that is the only way of converting "rm" on a mac unfortunately.
I'd be interested to know if you ever find an alternative screen capture tool or even bettera "rm" converter.
