Um...not sure with the new version, but whenever I quite Adium in the Invisible mode...when I reconnect, it logs in in Invisible mode. So I think it remembers the last status.

Weird - I am getting FB contacts that I don't even have as Friends! I know who they are (because they are on my Partners FB friends list)!! You would think this would be a fairly big breech of privacy???
Anyone had the same experience?

Think there may be a bug.
Get a friend to type something to you, then backspace it (without sending)
It appears on your end that they are still typing (indicated by the pencil).
Gets a tad annoying when you have friends that have something to say, think about, backspace it and then close the window.

Ok...it just prompted me to upgrade, which I did. And everything works. I realise that I have too many friends on Facebook and had to disable that account on Adium. I already have enough contacts through MSN, let alone another set of the same friends on Facebook. I'll just stick with MSN on Adium. Where's the new interface?

I have kinda worked it out, but it still doesn't make sense...
I use Firefox and have it remember everything (so I don't have to sign-in)
My partner uses Safari, again remembering her sign-in details so she doesn't have to sign in.
So, even though I have put in my FB details into Adium, it seems to be grabbing the details from Safari, even though it's not open.
Can it be doing this????

i realy should have hung back before updating, but i did it anyway. Ui is no different, but now it shows the contacts personal messgae under their name. no biggie. crashes less to.

Ugh, I hate, now every time I open Adium the contact list is extremely wide for no reason.

i updated this morning and it lost 3 contacts. Apparently it wasnt showing all of my contacts. I had to go to "show all contacts" to see friends i have had on msn for 5 years or more... Other than that, it seems fine. I also updated Firefox and that is hellishly ugly!

thanks for posting this. it fixed my missing contacts problem. it does seem a little buggy stil tho. some of my contacts pics have disappeared.. |
