I just bought CS3 … and I'm wondering if I did the right thing.

You could try AppZapper - I uninstalled CS2 last night with it and as far as I see it didn't leave any crap behind.

Wink The uninstaller that doesn't uninstall

Oh if anyone is having trouble and needs to uninstall, sometimes Adobe's uninstaller doesn't uninstall completely- if this happens you need to search on their site for "Mac Clean" which is a command line app that someone obviously wrote out of frustration, but it is from the Adobe site and the technical support team told me about it.

Yes it did work for me when I was trying to go from the 30 day demo to the Licence version.
