Left or Right Justifying the Dock

Just curious if there is a way to have the dock on the Bottom but have it positioned to the left or right as opposed to being in the center.

If this is possible is it also able to hide like Adium does. As in when the mouse moves towards the corner the dock will come from the left/right as opposed to appearing from the bottom.

I hope that makes sense.

In the top left click the Apple icon, Go to "Dock", then select position right or left.

It's not official, but third-party apps like TinkerTool give you the option.

+1 for Onyx. I love that program - sure it perpetuates some myths about performing the UNIX tasks, but it packs a punch.
