I'm not going to be downloading it, I'm really not a fan of Firefox on the Mac.

Have you used FF3? it made me change from long time safari use, I really can't think of one thing Safari does better than the new FF

CSS 3 support. OS X "niceness". Loads of small things FF still gets wrong. I don't care about extensions.

Some more reasons here:
Daring Fireball: Firefox 3 vs. Safari 3
Daring Fireball: Firefox 3 vs. Safari 3 Addenda

Yeah, Safari is just slicker - I tend to use both browsers, but always end up coming back to Safari because of the OS X niceness (but love the FF plugins )

Not to mention the fact that haven't even bothered to pick a date for their download day.

if Firefox had resizable text boxes and more in-depth file info on a site like Safari's activity window, then I'd probably move to Firefox in an instant.. but it looks like it won't happen..

WebKit is about to get stupidly fast JS too:
Surfin’ Safari - Blog Archive » Announcing SquirrelFish

WebKit is the future... Mozilla needs to seriously step up if they want be able to complete with the other standards compliant browsers over the next few years.

Also, I find the font rendering in FF2 awful. FF3 has improved things, but it's still not as good as WebKit.

Apparently AppleScript is broken in Firefox 3. - AppleScript is broken in Firefox 3 - Happy Apps

I prefer to use Firefox for it's plugins which can be time savers and a joy to use. Safari is by far better at rendering text though, and I can only read Devanagari in Safari - Firefox can't seem to show it at all.

You're kidding. What about it is better? Can't be Interface, can't be RSS support, must be plugins?
